Privacy Policy

Overview

AddToGCal helps you turn typed, spoken, or screenshot-based plans into Google Calendar events. This policy explains what data the app uses, why it uses it, and how you can ask for it to be deleted.

Google Data We Access

When you connect Google, AddToGCal asks for basic profile information, permission to create calendar events, and permission to check FreeBusy availability for conflict warnings. FreeBusy tells the app whether a time window is busy. It does not give AddToGCal your existing calendar event titles, descriptions, attendees, or locations.

Data We Store

AddToGCal stores your account email, encrypted Google OAuth tokens, calendar color preferences, smart defaults you save, recent captured event metadata, and created event links returned by Google Calendar. OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage.

How We Use Data

We use your data only to run the product: sign you in, parse plans, save your preferences, warn about scheduling conflicts, and create events you approve. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except for service providers needed to operate the app.

AI Processing

AddToGCal may send the plan text or uploaded screenshot you provide to an AI provider to extract calendar details. Do not submit sensitive information that you do not want processed for calendar creation.

Deletion and Revocation

You can delete your AddToGCal account data in the app, or email megha.s.devaraj@gmail.com to request deletion. Deleting your AddToGCal data removes stored app data and tokens from AddToGCal. It does not delete events that were already created in your Google Calendar. You can also revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
